Nigeria is Africa’s largest economy. With half of the country’s 182 million population Muslim, the West African country should be one of the world’s largest halal food markets but awareness is still low and the country is going through a recession. However, demand for halal food is on the rise, and there are significant opportunities to develop the sector. How robust is Nigeria's halal food industry?
