Passengers flying to Sandakan and Lahad Datu via MASwings regional airline from here will have the opportunity to enjoy pizzas while travelling to their destinations.

Domino’s Pizza Malaysia and Singapore senior vice-president of Marketing Linda Hassan said a total of 700 personal pizzas would be served over the next one week starting today on selected flights from here.

“Additionally, Domino’s Pizza and MASwings will also be doing a special pizza delivery to several rural communities in Sandakan,” she said after the signing of Memorandum of Understanding between Domino’s and MASwings for various initiatives specifically for people of Sabah.

Besides that, one of the MASwings ATR aircraft would also feature Domino’s logo to the collaboration.

Through the partnership, MASwings employees would receive express cards from Domino’s and have half price deals from Nov 12 until May 11 next year.

“Domino’s Pizza is also taking the opportunity to acknowledge the unsung heroes and the backbone of MASwings operations – their employees.

“This is a continuation of our acknowledgment and recognition of engineers, technical support and on-ground support for their dedication in ensuring the safety of passengers even before they step foot on the planes,” she added.

Also present was MASwings Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Aminuddin Zakaria who said the partnership was materialised through an extension of an earlier partnership agreed upon between Domino’s Pizza and sister company Malaysia Airlines Berhad.

“I am delighted to have Domino’s pizza being served to our passengers which is definitely a treat and will create a memorable journey for them.”
