Umar Munshi, founder and CEO of pioneering Islamic crowdfunding start-up EthisCrowd, gives an overview of the current global Islamic fintech landscape and trends, and offers his assessment of the opportunities that will drive the sector's future. 

In this presentation Munshi gave at the 13th World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) in Malaysia in November, he said that what is needed for the growth of Islamic fintech is visionary leaders in start-ups and the ecosystem, among other things.
